ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਚੌਗਿਰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਲਈ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ 363 ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਫਾਜ਼ਿਲਕਾ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਸੀਤੋ ਗੁੰਨੋ (ਅਬੋਹਰ) 'ਚ ਪੰਜ ਏਕੜ ਰਕਬੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਉਸਾਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਅੱਜ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਪਾਰਕ-ਕਮ-ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਹ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਰਕ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਜਿਸ 'ਤੇ ਕਰੀਬ 2 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਆਵੇਗੀ।

ਸਿਦਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰੜੀ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਮਜਦੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰੀਗਰ ਲੋਕ... ਜੋ ਅਪਨੇ ਗਾੜ੍ਹੇ ਪਸੀਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਕਾਰਜ, ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਇਕਾਈਆਂ ਰੂਪੀ ਬੂਟੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੰਜਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ ਮਜਦੂਰ ਦਿਵਸ'ਤੇ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਨਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

ਮਿਹਨਤੀ ਕਾਰੀਗਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਹਰ ਦਿਨ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ। ਉਸਾਰੀ ਕਿਰਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਵਜੀਫਾ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਅਧੀਨ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਕਰੀਬ 38 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਖਰਚ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ।

ਬੇਬੇ ਨਾਨਕੀ ਲਾਡਲੀ ਬੇਟੀ ਸਕੀਮ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਵਰਦਾਨ ਸਾਬਿਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੁੰਡੇ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਨੂੰ ਕੁੜੀ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਤਰਜੀਹ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਸਕੀਮ ਅਧੀਨ 26,875 ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰੀਬ 53.75 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਵੰਡੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

Bebe Nanki Ladli Beti Scheme has not only proved to be a boon to the girls in the state but also helped people in changing their mind set for opting a male child instead of female. As many as 26,875 beneficiaries have been covered under this scheme and an amount of Rs. 53.75 crore disbursed under this scheme.

ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਹੈ 9 ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੇ ਕੱਟਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ! ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਸਰਪਲੱਸ ਸੂਬਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕਲਪਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਥਰਮਲ ਪਲਾਂਟਾਂ ਲਈ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ. ਤਲਵੰਡੀ ਸਾਬੋ ਦੇ ਥਰਮਲ ਪਲਾਂਟ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਸੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਵਡਮੁੱਲੀ ਇਕਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ 1980 ਮੈਗਾਵਾਟ ਹੋਰ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਜੁਟਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਹੋਇਆ. ਤਲਵੰਡੀ ਸਾਬੋ ਥਰਮਲ ਪਲਾਂਟ ਸਾਡੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸਸਤੀ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਮੰਤਵ ਤੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਖਰਾ ਉੱਤਰਦਾ ਹੈ. 

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਇਹ ਥਰਮਲ ਪਲਾਂਟ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਪੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰਾਂ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਹਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੁੜਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਧੁਏਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਮਨਤਮ ਮਾਤਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ.

Yet another major initiative taken by the state government for bringing Punjab at the new heights of glory in Education sector - Union Minister Arun Jaitley Ji and Smriti Zubin Irani Ji graced the occasion of the foundation laying ceremony of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) at Amritsar.
